Hi! My name is Laurie. I’m a domestic engineer of my beautiful home in South Carolina and CEO of my fun family which includes three little people who I find extraordinary. I’m a jack-of-all-trades and a lover of all this frugal, crafty, inspirational, and organized. And I love to learn things as I go.

Not long after I married my dear husband, he was a little exasperated as I was so particular about how the dishes were done and how the towels were folded. I had to have all white plastic hangers in my closet and I would have to file just about every piece of paper we got. He teasingly told me I was a “Polly Picky Pants”. I CRIED. Yes, I’m a little OCD. However, over the years I have come to proudly own the title he gave me that day. Yes, I’m particular about things. I only want the best for my little family!! I have also learned a lot about what is important and when to let go and not stress.

As I have used my skill for being “Picky” over the years, I found that many friends and family loved the ideas or info I have. Whether it is an idea I find on Pinterest and put my own spin on or an awesome tip on how to recycle and save money or an inspirational thought to lift me up.
